Founded in 1929 by 99 licensed women pilots to support each other and advance aviation, the International Ninety-Nines Organization today numbers over 5,000 women pilots around the globe. One of the newest and most active offshore sections is the Nepal Section, which counts sixteen women airline pilots as its members and is growing. The Nepal 99s fly for seven Nepal domestic air carriers, ferrying passengers and cargo between the country’s major cities in the hills and near the Indian border, and into some of the most challenging mountain airstrips in the world. These brave young women fly mostly twin turboprop aircraft on a daily schedule of multiple flights that would wear out lesser pilots. And as this short documentary shows, they are bright, cheerful, adaptable, and focused. They are living their lifelong dream to be a pilot, they have the support of their families, they are well-trained, they are undaunted by fast-changing weather, and they are serving the needs of one of the least developed countries in the world. With their pluck and ability and courage, these Nepal 99s epitomize the finest qualities of today’s woman pilot.

Outstanding! I was so afraid you would forget how much we loved this video when we first saw it in Hawaii. I am ordering 2 copies – one for my chapter and one for me.
Thanks a lot. We’ll look for your order.
I loved the preview version and look forward to having a copy of my own. This is what makes us International.
Certain to make great gifts. Judy
